Mrs Greening, daughter of Mrs Stephenson, performed theunveiling, and the Rev. AW Gordon briefly reviewed the associations ofthe past. Mrs Stephenson was a constant attendant at the Church,rendering wherever and whenever she could those acts of kindness andChristian aid which has endeared her life to the memory of herfriends. The window is a beautiful tribute to a beautiful life.

On Wednesday last week, on the day of his wifes funeral inWarracknabeal, Mr S Giddings of Kellalac, received news of the deathin Adelaide of his brother Mr Charles Giddings. Mr Giddings who wasaged 77 years, was a son of the late Mr and Mrs William Giddings withwhom he came to Kellalac in 1888. He lived there until 1917, when hewent to Wallington (near Geelong) and carried on farming. Later hewent to Adelaide where he married a Miss Wise and remained for therest of his life. There are no children to the marriage. Charles Giddings was born on 9 August 1865 at Gumeracha, Adelaide Hills, SA.
Charles Giddings married Elsie Zetta Dorothy Wise, daughter of John Wise, on 8 February 1930 at Methodist Church, Prospect North SA.
Charles Giddings died on 22 December 1942 at Adelaide, SA, at age 77.
