     Her married name was Elliott. Norah Orritt Jones was born on 25 April 1891 at Essendon, Victoria, AustraliaG.
Norah Orritt Jones married Ernest Edward Elliott, son of Charles William Elliott and Jane Akhurst, on 22 April 1916. This was in fact a "shotgun" wedding with families forcing the issue as Norah was pregnant out of wedlock. Norah Orritt Jones lived in 1924 at Brunswick North, Bourke, Victoria, AustraliaG.1
Norah Orritt Jones died on 11 December 1968 at Prahran, VictoriaG, at age 77. The results of an Inquest into her death by the Coroner on 22nd Dec 1969 found that she died as a result of injuries recieved when she was struck by a motor car. Her usual place of residence at this time was 1101 Nepean Highway Highett.2 She was cremated on 13 December 1968 at the Necropolis, Springvale, Melbourne, VictoriaG.
At a Victorian Coronial Inquest on 22 May 1969 it was determined that Norah was killed when struck by a car. The Inquest Reference is 1969/905. Her death certificate states that she died in Prahran (eg Alfred Hospital) but her family understand that she actually died on the site of the accident. Adminastratively she could not be pronounced dead until examined by a doctor at the hospital.

This time the family settled in Melbourne where they spent the rest of their lives. From this point the family history is all well established thanks to the information contained in the Family Bible which forms part of this history package. Stangely, Henry is not mentioned. Only Eliza Annie (35), Sarah (14), Eliza A. (10), Howard Augustus (5) and Harry Wyatt (3).

     Henry Wright was born on 15 May 1921 at 6 Middle Street, Ascot Vale, Bourke, VictoriaG.2 He was principal of at Moonee Ponds West School at VictoriaG on 16 November 1934 when an unknown person was a student.
Henry Wright married Jean Herrod, daughter of Charles William Herrod and Annie Jessie Jane Morris, on 4 June 1941 at 21 Trentham Street, Sandringham, VictoriaG.3 Henry Wright began military service on 31 October 1941 This was by entering the Citizen Military Force where he stayed until 30 Jul 1942 before transferring to the AIF full-time. He began military service on 31 July 1942 This was now with the Australian Imperial Force where he eventually joined the 37 Australian Heavy Wireless Section and satyed. His service number was VX82933 and he became a Corporal in the Section. Henry Wright also went by the name of Harry. He ended military service on 18 January 1946 at Royal Park Barracks, Melbourne, AustraliaG; He had served a total of one thousand five hundred and fourty one days in the Australian Military Forces. At this time he was described as being 5 ft 8 ins tall with brown eyes, black hair and a dark completion. He also had a scar near his right eye. He was Truck Driver on 29 December 1946.
Henry Wright died on 21 February 2001 at Barham, New South Wales, AustraliaG, at age 79. He died at the Barham-Koondrook Soldiers Memorial Hospital H died from Cardio Pulmonary failure which he had had for 4 days prior. He had been suffering from prostatic carcinoma with systemic metastasis which hed had suffered for 2 years. His final resting place is in the Barham Lawn Cemetery, Barham.
Before his death he had been resident at 5 McConnell Place, Barham, NSW. At the time of his death he was listed as being a Liason Officer.

     Erica Jean Elliott was born on 26 July 1919 at Coburg, VictoriaG. Vic Reg No: 18159. During the Depresion when very young, Erica's father deserted the family leaving them destitute. He was a gambler and left them to go "swagging", arriving back after about 3 to 4 years. Erica was about 8 or 9 at the time of his arrival back home. They were living in Clifton Hill at the time and relying on the goodwill of family to survive. Erica started work at 13 years of age after obtaining a special permit to start working so young.
Erica Jean Elliott married Thomas John Berger, son of John Joseph Berger and Mary Veronica Ryan, on 25 November 1939 at St Ambrose Anglican Church. Her married name was Berger. Erica Jean Elliott was also known as "Aunty Ek" or "Aunty Ec" to the family members. She met with Dianne Jennifer Elliott to say "hello" and talk about family history and lore on 1 June 2012 at Hoppers Crossing, VictoriaG. Also there was [Witness].

Priscilla Woods married William Jones, son of John Jones and Nora Wharton, on 1 August 1887 at St Stephen Anglican Church, Edge Hill, Liverpool, EnglandG.2,3 Priscilla Woods and William Jones arrived on 4 July 1889 to Melbourne, AustraliaG; aboard the Braunschweig. They boarded, unusally, in Antwerp. Sadly this record shows that their young daughter Ethel died on board during the trip. She was only 10 months old.4

Priscilla Woods died on 4 June 1955 at Freemason's Homes of Victoria, 313 Punt Road, MelbourneG. She died from a combination of Arteriosclerosis which she had been suffering for 2 years and Myocarditis for only 4 months. Her doctor had last seen her 5 days before.6 She was cremated Her ashes at stored at Pittosporum, Wall 3DD, Niche 80 on 7 June 1955 at Springvale Cemetery, MelbourneG.

It is of interest that, from his marriage certificate, William and another male, Charles Bland Skelton were both married on the same day in the same church by the same minister; both currently living at 80 Bamber Street.3 William Jones and Priscilla Woods arrived on 4 July 1889 to Melbourne, AustraliaG; aboard the Braunschweig.      Betty, in later years, lived with her in-laws at their home in Moorabbin.
She also had a sister believed to be Isobella.
Betty and her sister believed that they were adopted children. Beatrice Madge Kline was also known as Betty. Her married name was Elliott. She was born in 1917 at South Yarra, VictoriaG. Family lore has it that Beatrice/Betty may have been adopted however there is the entry in the Great War (Vic) Indexes for B'rice (Beatrice). Lore is usually not way off the beam so the adoption may well refer to another close to Betty.
Reg No: 32456. At the time of her wedding Beatrice resided at 56a Carlisle Street, St Kilda, MelbourneG.

Beatrice Madge Kline died. I have searched quite extensively for Betty's recorded death under a variety of names but no luck. Maybe she didn't die until after 1985, the limit of the Indexes at the time of this research.

Berger was Christned Thomas John Berger but then later in life Confirmed as William, hence him being called Bill.This must have been later in life as he was known to have been called "Tom" at his workplace and then, later, Bill by his family. It is possible that this occurred at a time of change of faith.
