Also she was difficult to find as her family name was spelt Killpatrick with 2 "ls". in 1863 at Victoria.1,2 Richmond Forrest Kilpatrick was also known as Cis or Cissy This is mentioned in The Argus, (Melbourne, Vic. : 1848 - 1957), Mon 15 Apr 1946, Page 2, Family Notices. As of 1908,her married name was Gamble.
She married James Alexander Gamble in 1908 at Clifton Hill, Victoria. Richmond had a nickname starting with "C" as reported in his death notice in the Australasian, Saturday 22 May 1926, p3. GAMBLE.-- On the 13th May (suddenly), James Alexander, dearly beloved husband of C. Gamble, of the Righi, Ferntree Gully road, Oakleigh, and loving father of Vera, Bertha, Gilbert, and Lily, in his 62nd year. (Private internment.).3,4,5 Richmond and James appeared on the Australian electoral roll of 1913 and listed as living at Penty Road, Preston, Melbourne, Victoria. Richmond had a listed occupation of home duties and he of Engine Driver.
Richmond Forrest Kilpatrick died on 12 April 1946 at Cambrai Private Hospital, Westbury Street, East St Kilda, Victoria. She ultimately died from "cardiac failure", from which she had been suffering for one month, as well as generally suffering from "senility" according to Dr J Guest who had last seen her on 9th Apr the year.3 At the time of her death Richmond is reported as living at at The Righi, Fern Tree Gully Road, Oakleigh, Victoria.3 She was buried on 15 April 1946 at Coburg Cemetery, Melbourne, Victoria.3
